I love this outfit. We've way outgrown the bottom but, luckily, the top still fits.
This was last fall, almost exactly a year ago to the day:
On October 4th, Hannah and her class went on a field trip to the fire station. Parents got to go too.
The fire house is right down the street from the preschool, so we walked. I like the little rope the kids hold on to.
Learning all about fire safety and what firemen do. Cousin PJ and JT and Aunt Kristie are firefighters.
Learning about the fire trucks! Hannah's cousins know how to drive those big trucks!
Loud noises!
Back to school.
Joe was in Atlanta for the Catalyst conference (Andy Stanley), so he missed the field trip. The next morning I drove the kids to Atlanta and we met Auntie Jen and Leah at the zoo. It was Hannah and Joseph's first time...
Tigers!
Pandas!
Look at this guy:
Love it.
Future BFFs and ADPis:
Orangutans!
Hey Willie B!
Giraffes!
Introducing Raffie to the giraffes.
I couldn't figure out the focus thing fast enough.
After several circles around trying to get Joseph's attention, he found me (held by Jen's mom):
While they both preferred being out of the stroller, I am positive they enjoyed themselves.
Friday night we stayed at Loew's Hotel in Midtown and had dinner with Joe's family at South City Kitchen. {I had outstanding fried chicken.} Saturday, Ben and Katie took the kids to Piedmont Park...
{Thanks for the photos Aunt Katie!}
...while we went to see Joe III accept the Benjamin Elijah Mays Lifetime Achievement Award (an award given by the Council of Urban Boards of Education). So proud of Poppy!
We got home Saturday night. It was a very full week. {I haven't mention that our church/my husband hosted the district's Bishop's Hour that Tuesday and we had the church's annual Charge Conference on Wednesday. Joe left at 5am Thursday morning.}
These pictures are great! I love the one of Hannah and Leah hugging and the one on the carousel. Adorable. We had a so much fun at the zoo with you guys! xoxo
